My real name is Anne Marie but my family always called me "Annie", among other things!I was born in Manhattan but my parents moved to poughkeepsie to raise a family!! My dad was the city boy from Midtown and my mom was the South Jersey girl!! Funny to say they met in a bar and have been married over 35 years! I owe everything to them because they gave everyting to me! I was always involved in sports and such growing up. I played basketball, did Ballet, was a Girl Scout, and in high school I was part of the colorguard!! Yes I went to band camp! Not for band but the guard was part of the marching band! I graduated High School in 2000 at Arlington and went on to get my two year degree at Dutchess! After switching majors three times I came to the realization that if i tried hard enough i could live my dream! I was that kid who had all my girlfriends play talk show instead of house. I think i owe that to my mom who would listen to my famous phrase as a kid "It's not fair" and she would simply reply " Write it all down and send it to Oprah" !! I guess it rubbed off because I would love to be in Oprah's chair! I went on to Marist and got a Radio, TV, Film degree with a minor in psychology! While is school I worked The Old Rolling Rock Cafe, The MadHatter, and presently Darby O'gills! Bartending and waitressing got me through school and helped me socially because trust me you meet and deal with ALL kinds of people! It also helped me to form a tough skin. My last semester at MArist in '06 I interned here at Clearchannel, under Cameron Hendix and Joe Daily of 92.1 LiteFM. While sitting in on the mornings with them I learned so much and they opened up to me about how they got where they were and they were such great mentors. I'll never forget the first time Joe let me read an event on-air I was so excited about it I called my mom right away and was like did you hear, did you hear, even tough it was only a few words it was such a rush! Towards the end of my internship the morning spot on KISSFM was open and I tried out for it! Thank God they liked me and I became part of the Playhouse. It's been so much fun and I keep learning so much.. I feel like its a great time in my life to find myself more and pursue my passion everyday. Being 26 is a place in my life where I discover more each day who I am and I am grateful that I can share my experiences with the listeners. I enjoy hearing the stories and experiences other's have had and making each morning start off with a laugh. with CJ, Fuzzy, and Koody each morning is so full of laughs it hurts sometimes. Cheers to two amazing years so far and I look forward to much more to come in the future!!!!

AT HOME BEAUTY USES WITH BAKING SODA.....
Cleansing Shampoo: Mix a teaspoon of baking soda with your daily shampoo to help wash away build-up from hair products (this works exceptionally well on fine hair).
Face Exfoliator:Mix a half a teaspoon of baking soda with your cleanser to make a scrub. Apply it to your damp skin by massaging in with small circles. Rinse and repeat if necessary. If you are trying to fight acne, you can also mix in one crushed aspirin (which contains bacteria-fighting salicylic acid).
Hairbrush Cleanser: Plug your sink with lukewarm water and add in two or three tablespoons of baking soda. Soak your hairbrushes and combs in the mixture for a few minutes to remove residue. Rinse well and be sure and dry your brushes and combs completely.
Tooth Whitener: If you are trying to brighten up your smile, brush your teeth with baking soda for two minutes. You might want to gargle with mouthwash after. I'm not going to lie, the taste is not the best, but it works!
Cuticle Softener: A pinch of baking soda can be added to a bowl of warm water to help soften your cuticles. Let your hands soak in the water for a few minutes before rinsing them off thoroughly.

SAD NEWS FROM THE WEEKEND WITH THE PASSING OF BERNIE MACK AND ISAAC HAYES.
Hayes passed away on Sunday (08/10/08) morning at a Memphis, Tennessee hospital. The cause of death has yet to be confirmed. According to reports, the songwriter was rushed to Baptist East Hospital after receiving a call from Hayes' wife who found him lying near a treadmill in their home.
The deep-voiced, bald performer and songwriter won both Grammys and an Oscar for his theme from the 1971 movie Shaft -- becoming the first African-American to win an Oscar for music. He was also known as one of the architects of the Memphis soul sound, co-writing such classics as Sam and dave's "Soul Man" and "Hold on I'm Coming." Later, he became a well-known radio personality and a T-V voice of "South Park's" singing cafeteria worker "Chef."
high-profile Scientologist, he was also an African king in Ghana and an honorary chief in Nigeria. He reportedly had 12 children -- the youngest is two -- and 14 grandchildren. In 2006, he suffered a stroke, and his health was never quite the same.

Then Bernie Mack passing away due to complications from pneumonia at the age of 50. The sarcoidosis, the inflammatory lung disease that was said to be in remission, was indirectly responsible for his death from pneumonia on Saturday, according to his sister-in-law. Mary Ann Grossett, the older sister of Mac's widow Rhonda, tells People magazine, "Because he had it, his immune system was compromised. He had an infection...He was on a new medication that suppresses the immune system, and that's where the pneumonia came from." She also reveals that the comic entered a Chicago hospital on July 24th, eight days before the date his publicist gave for his admittance, and was "in intensive care the whole time." He is best remembered for some of his roles in The Original Kings of ComedyMo' Money, Who's the Man, House Party Three, Get on the Bus, Don't Be a Menace to South Central, Life, Bernie Mac Show, Oceans 11 and its sequels, Bad Santa, Guess Who and Transformers.
He is survived by his wife of more than 30 years, Rhonda, and their daughter, Je'Niece.
